Kim graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in English and Political Science. After a stint of internships on Capitol Hill and at The Hill, she moved to Italy to attain her M.A. in Political Science. She also has an M.A. in Communication from American University. She currently works as an HR Generalist at Grant Thornton, loves all things bread and pasta, rainy days, cups of tea, and her fantasy basketball team.

Ivana graduated from Penn State with a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Business and Liberal Arts. After undergrad, she moved back to the D.C. metro region and works as a Management Consultant. Throughout her life, she sought to help others leading various volunteering projects in her community. She loves a good cup of coffee, pushing her limits, and her favorite story is The Little Prince.

Samantha was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Environmental Science. She has interned with the Smithsonian several times doing various plant research projects and is now a Plant Healthcare Specialist at Bartlett Tree Experts. Her interests are cooking, volleyball, and playing board games.

Liz graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Communications in 2017. She is now a Digital Marketing Specialist with TD Synnex at DLT Solutions. Helping others has always been a passion of hers. Liz has been a part of the Me & You team from the very beginning, and she is excited how far the organization has come. Liz's hobbies are napping, singing karaoke, and cuddling with her massive dog.

Rita Hsieh holds a Master of Business Administration from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Roanoke College. She has spent fifteen years in the accounting profession, the last ten of which in nonprofit. She has a passion for education and helping others. Her three big loves are family, food, and pool (in no particular order).

Lauren took a less traditional path in life, opting to jump straight into the workforce to start a career in government contracting and ultimately landing a career in the world of personal security. Helping others is something that has been instilled in her from a young age, growing up her family was quick to help others in their time of need, taking in whole families at various times! After experiencing a huge personal loss, Lauren realized that helping others was not only a passion of hers, but was also the only thing that could help fill a void left in her life. Outside of that, she has two spoiled dogs, gets her sunny disposition from a healthy addiction of large amounts of espresso.

Nina is beyond thrilled to join Me & You as a volunteer, Brand Ambassador, and as one of the newest members of its Board of Directors. A dental professional by day who moonlights as an event stylist & owner of her own event styling biz Confetti Memories, this former teacher is truly passionate about helping people and making them smile. When she's not volunteering or working, you might find Nina writing poetry, listening to some good old 90's Hip Hop and R&B, or just cozied up on the couch watching movies with her husband and their dog Scruffee, who's also a Me&You Ambassador repping for all our fur friends!

I'm excited about having the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause and emphasize the numerous benefits of collaborating with a nonprofit organization. I intend to continue my studies in national security and foreign affairs at Virginia Tech after graduating from high school in June of last year. I've held many leadership positions in the service and engagement sectors throughout high school, so it's safe to say I enjoy being active in the community. I enjoy going out with friends and family, binge-watching an eight-season show, exploring the city, or reading a good book!
