Give a little bit of love

Hello family, friends, and loving community.

We are so grateful to start another school season with you and give a little bit of love to those who need it most. This year, Me & You is supporting 7 schools in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, so our fundraising efforts will be going to support:

130+ toiletry packages
school supplies
145 winter coats and other winter gear
300+ grocery store gift cards
40 holiday wish lists
a community vegetable garden
after-school experiences
meals & essentials for the homeless

Any donation is immensely appreciated.

When was a time when someone gave you a little bit (of love), and how did that impact your life? Any gesture, never too small or big.

What are you wishing for this year?

There was a time in my life, in my twenties when I was pretty broke, working multiple jobs, and it really was barely enough to pay the bills. In those days, I used to fill up gas $5, $10 at a time because I really didn't have the funds to spare there. One night, I was dropping off a friend, and I had to stop to get gas. He covered the gas. I didn't ask, and it was only like $20, but it was such a kind gesture that I pretty cried on my drive home. I'm sure it was nothing to him, but to me, it was, it made all the difference.
